English for keeds and teens
“I Speak English” The course is designed for pupils of primary school (Angera, Ispra, Novara). There are 15 lessons of 45 minutes per week in the period October- January .All activities – songs, games, handicrafts, small skits – are aimed at children 6-10 years old. The lessons are held by mother tongue teachers
“The Theatre Lab” or “English You Learn Playing” The course is designed for pupils of primary schools (Ispra, Angera, Novara) There are 15 lessons of 45 minutes in the period from February to May. The goals: to enhance expressive skills in English and promote the development of creative and expressive potential of the personality, to discover “parts of the self”, that are often silenced, as important resources.

Exam preparatory block
“Ready For Cambridge”-the course is aimed at teens and young adults who want to improve their English skills. The teachers prepare the students to reach the level B1 and B2. Classroom activities carried out by the staff of mother tongue teachers and qualified Italian. They promote the development of all four language skills – listening and comprehension (45 min / week); writing and reading (90 min. / week) – with a focus on speaking (30 min / week). Finally, the Bilingual Academic Center offers the opportunity to reach the levels B1 and B2 of the English language through preparatory courses for language certifications (KET, PET and FCE). Total 30 weeks.
“English for Employment, Study and Life” - 36 lessons from 90 minutes or 180 min per week, performed by mother tongue /bilingual English teachers possessing specific training. Whether you need to improve your language skills for academic, business or social reasons, you can find the right solution here. You might need to improve your language skills for professional reasons, you might wish to travel or move overseas.
English courses for adults (general, business, culture) individual or group lessons are structured to fit different student needs.The modules always include “Structured Grammar Training” of 60 minutes per week, because it is essential in order to master a language.

English for Job  is designed to develop the specialist English language knowledge and communication skills that job-seekers need to apply for and secure jobs. Ideal for both working professionals and those new to the world of employment, the course comprises six standalone units covering core areas such as preparing a CV, writing a cover letter, and answering interview questions. Authentic materials such as genuine CVs and cover letters give learners practical experience in understanding and preparing vital documents. In addition, the course also offers valuable advice to help improve job-hunters’ confidence, including help with difficult interview questions and how to present yourself effectively.

Intensive Group Course This is the Standard Course of 10 hours per week. In the extra lessons, students focus on a particular area of English language that has been identified as necessary for the students: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, etc.

  • Timetable: Mon. – Fr., 5:30-8:00 p.m.
  • Cost 100 euro/week  (group 8 students)

Exam Preparatory Course Students can provide proof of their acquired level of proficiency by taking the Test of English, as a Foreign Language), the standard national test of English as a Foreign Language certified by the Authorised  Test Centre. The test is required for university entry and in certain professional realms. If a student enrolled in a long-term programme is aiming to pass the exam, he/she has the option to take a block of individual lessons specifically designed to cover the structure of the exam, psychological aspects, most confusing and problematic points in Italian grammar, vocabulary, listening comprehension, writing strategies, etc. The minimum block of 10 individual lessons can be taken in combination with the Standard or Intensive Academic Course. The exact number of individual classes required to pass the exam is determined by the teacher and the student at the start of the Academic Course. Please see the Levels Schema on the previous page for the approximate number of hours for the corresponding exam-level. We can test your Italian language level before you register, and then advise you which course to enroll in.
