Philosophy

A.I.S.T. philosophy

The reality in which we live is ever more heterogeneous day after day. The new generations, born at the end of the 1990s and 2000, are destined to live and work in a globalized world, where there will be no room for any kind of discrimination. Usually, when we talk about globalization, we mean new technologies, new markets and new economic ties. The main meaning of globalization is the interaction between people from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, focused on common points and mutual respect for differences.

The province of Varese, thanks to the presence of important research centers and industrial centers, attracts people from all over the world. The project “For a Better World” aimed at the linguistic and cultural integration of citizens coming from different contexts, conceived by the educational director Dr. Agnessa Dymsha, was developed by the faculty team of the bilingual academic center of AIST ONLUS (via Europa , 377 – ISPRA). The different languages and related cultures are therefore a way to open up to others, to understand, to understand each other and to consolidate their identity. If the mother tongue allows each of us to identify with their cultural origin, the learning of multiple languages (from bilingualism to multilingualism) is the premise of school, work and social successes, as well as openness to new worlds.

“The limits of my language mean the limits of my world” (Ludwig Wittgenstein)
